Is Thailand's Financial Transaction Overregulated?

I feel that it is complicated and hard to transfer money out of Thailand to pay for what is necessary, such as tuition fees and registration at the international conference.
Maybe it's just be. With new technologies, one would have thought that the money transfer and business payments across countries or states would be made simple and convenient, in reality, io found it harder.
This is my personal experience. You may have different opinions.
