ทำไมจึงควรกระจายอำนาจทางการศึกษา

(Why it's immensely necessary to decentralize Thai education?)

I shall base my reasons on this framework. When we address the issue of education in a macro-scale, we should look into 4 dimensions.

1. Contents
2. Deliveries
3. Management
4. Environment


1. Contents

In the increasingly interconnected world, local contents matter. The centralized contents are not always suitable for the local context. The contents need to be up-to-date and relevant to the context. Decentralizing the contents can be done through local teachers working together to design their own courses, curriculum, and may be some research to develop their own contents.

Local experts or scholars can better be recruited to help facilitate students' learning. With this, local communities will be stronger and they will be able to withstand and cope with the dynamics of regional integration and 21st century globalization.

Deliveries deal with the ways to teach or instructional methods.
