"Building a strong, prosperous, and sustainable Thailand for the 21st century"
This is a big task for Thailand and also the rest of the world. This does not mean that at present Thailand is weak or not strong enough. It is just to throw out an issue or 'dream' into the future. They say we need to have a dream or an overarching goal.
In terms of the economy, Thailand should not rely on using cheap labor. The industry should be friendly to the environment. More emphasis should be placed on skilled labor and professional development.
Education should be more effective, in terms of quality, accessibility, quantity, and equity.
