 ผมจะขอแนะนำการใช้คำกริวิเศษณ์ หรือ Adverbs of Degrees หรือ Intensifiers

สำหรับประโยคธรรมๆ เช่น I like you. หากจะให้เข้มข้นมากกว่านี้ เราสามารถใช้คำกริยาวิเศษณ์มาขยายได้ 

I really like you. ฉันรักเธอจริงๆนะ

คำว่า Really เป็น degree adverb 

ก่อนอื่นเรามาทบทวนความรู้เรื่อง Adverbs กันก่อนนะครับ

Adverbs คือคำขยายชนิดหนึ่ง (a type of modifying word)

ประเภทของคำกริยาวิเศษณ์ (Types of Adverbs)

1. Adverbs of Place (คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกสถานที่)

   - ใช้บอกสถานที่หรือตำแหน่งของการกระทำ

   - Examples:

     - Here (ที่นี่)

       - She is waiting here. (เธอกำลังรออยู่ที่นี่) เช่น Right here - I've been waiting for you for three hours.

     - There (ที่นั่น)

       - He went there. (เขาไปที่นั่น)

     - Everywhere (ทุกที่)

       - I looked everywhere for my keys. (ฉันมองหากุญแจทุกที่)

     - Outside (ข้างนอก) / Inside (ข้างใน)

       - The kids are playing outside. (เด็ก ๆ กำลังเล่นอยู่ข้างนอก)

2. Adverbs of Time (คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกเวลา)

   - ใช้บอกเวลาเมื่อการกระทำเกิดขึ้น

   - Examples: 

     - Now (ตอนนี้)

       - She is studying now. (เธอกำลังเรียนอยู่ตอนนี้)

     - Yesterday (เมื่อวาน)

       - I visited my grandmother yesterday. (ฉันไปเยี่ยมคุณยายเมื่อวาน)

    - What did you do yesterday? Where were you yesterday evening? 

     - Soon (เร็ว ๆ นี้)

       - We will leave soon. (พวกเราจะออกไปเร็ว ๆ นี้)

     - Lately (เมื่อไม่นานมานี้)

       - He has been very busy lately. (เขายุ่งมากเมื่อไม่นานมานี้)

เพลงที่ผมชื่นชอบ Have I told you lately that I love you? 

3. Adverbs of Manner (คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกลักษณะ) 

   - ใช้บอกวิธีการหรือลักษณะของการกระทำ

   - Examples: 

     - Slowly (ช้า ๆ)

       - She walked slowly. (เธอเดินช้า ๆ)

     - Quickly (อย่างรวดเร็ว)

       - He finished the work quickly. (เขาทำงานเสร็จอย่างรวดเร็ว)

     - Carefully (อย่างระมัดระวัง)

       - She drove carefully. (เธอขับรถอย่างระมัดระวัง)

     - Well (ดี)

       - He speaks English well. (เขาพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี)

     - He speaks English very well. (เขาพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีมาก)

4. Adverbs of Frequency (คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกความถี่)

   - ใช้บอกความถี่ของการกระทำ

   - Examples:

     - Always (เสมอ)

       - She always arrives on time. (เธอมาถึงตรงเวลาเสมอ)

      - I will love you - always.

     - Usually (ปกติ)

       - He usually goes to the gym after work. (เขาไปฟิตเนสหลังเลิกงานปกติ)

     - Often (บ่อย ๆ)

       - They often visit their grandparents. (พวกเขาไปเยี่ยมคุณปู่คุณย่าบ่อย ๆ)

     - Never (ไม่เคย)

       - I never eat junk food. (ฉันไม่เคยกินอาหารขยะ)

5. Adverbs of Degree (คำกริยาวิเศษณ์บอกระดับ)

ซึ่ง Intensifiers จัดอยู่ในหมวดนี้นะครับ

   - ใช้บอกระดับหรือความเข้มข้นของการกระทำหรือคุณลักษณะ

   - Examples:

     - Very (มาก)

       - The movie was very interesting. (หนังเรื่องนั้นน่าสนใจมาก)

     - Quite (ค่อนข้าง)

       - She is quite intelligent. (เธอค่อนข้างฉลาด)

     - Too (เกินไป)

       - The soup is too hot. (ซุปนั้นร้อนเกินไป)

       - 

     - Enough (เพียงพอ)

       - Is it warm enough for you? (มันอบอุ่นพอสำหรับคุณไหม?)

1. คำกริยาวิเศษณ์ แบบ Adverbs of Degrees คืออะไร?

คำกริยาวิเศษณ์ (Adverbs of Degrees) หรือ Intensifiers เป็นคำที่ใช้เพื่อบอกระดับหรือความเข้มข้นของการกระทำหรือคุณลักษณะ ตัวอย่างเช่น คำว่า "really", "very", "quite", "extremely" ฯลฯ

Extremely

- He is extremely tall. (เขาสูงมาก)

  - คำว่า "extremely" ช่วยบอกว่าเขาสูงในระดับที่มากเกินไป

So เช่น อร่อยมาก so delicious

- I am so happy. (ฉันมีความสุขมาก)

  - คำว่า "so" ช่วยเพิ่มระดับความสุข (ของเรา)

He's so poor. เขาจนมาก

6. Absolutely

   - Example: She is absolutely right.  เธอถูกต้องอย่างแน่นอน

   - Sentence: The view from the top was absolutely stunning.  วิวจากด้านบนสวยงามมาก

7. Totally

   - Example: I am totally exhausted. ฉันเหนื่อยมาก

   - Sentence: The concert was totally amazing. คอนเสิร์ตนั้นสุดยอดมาก

8. Completely

   - Example: He is completely unaware of the situation. เขาไม่รู้สถานการณ์เลย

9. Highly

   - Example: She is highly respected in her field. เธอได้รับความเคารพอย่างมากในสายงานของเธอ

   - Sentence: The course is highly recommended. คอร์สนี้ได้รับการแนะนำอย่างสูง

10. Incredibly

    - Example: The movie was incredibly boring.  หนังเรื่องนั้นน่าเบื่อมาก

    - Sentence: She did an incredibly good job on the project.  เธอทำงานในโปรเจคนี้ได้ดีมาก

11. Pretty = Very

    - Example: The cake is pretty good.  เค้กอร่อยใช้ได้

    - Sentence: The exam was pretty hard. ข้อสอบค่อนข้างยาก

12. Awfully

    - Example: It was awfully kind of you to help. คุณใจดีมากที่ช่วย

    - Sentence: The weather is awfully cold today. วันนี้อากาศหนาวมาก

13. Terribly

    - Example: I am terribly sorry for your loss. ฉันเสียใจมากกับการสูญเสียของคุณ

    - Sentence: The kids were terribly excited about the trip. เด็ก ๆ ตื่นเต้นมากกับการท่องเที่ยว

14. Remarkably

16. Seriously อย่างหนัก / อย่างรุนแรง

17. Slightly นิดหน่อย

    - Example: The coffee is slightly bitter.  กาแฟมีรสขมนิดหน่อย

18.  Fairly ค่อนข้าง

    - Example: The test was fairly easy.  ข้อสอบค่อนข้างง่าย

19. Practically

    - Example: The instructions are practically impossible to understand.  คำแนะนำแทบจะเข้าใจไม่ได้เลย

    - Sentence: She is practically an expert in this field.  เธอแทบจะเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญในสายงานนี้

20. Virtually

    - Example: The project is virtually complete.  โปรเจคนี้เกือบจะเสร็จแล้ว

    - Sentence: The internet has virtually transformed communication. อินเตอร์เน็ตแทบจะเปลี่ยนแปลงการสื่อสารไปหมดแล้ว
